I bought these in my regular shoe size and they fit perfectly. They are comfortable and sound good so far, though I've only tried them on a dance mat. Can't say how long they'll last, but they're in good shape still after 3-4 tap sessions.
The tap on the toe is a little shorter than I was used to, but it works perfectly and makes contact with the floor for your flaps and spanks, no problem.

Wanted to put on tap shoes for the first time in about 45 years but everything seemed to be leather which I don’t buy anymore. Spotted these and took a chance. They are so far fine though I haven’t given them a whole lot of work since I am old and just putzing around, amazed I remember the steps I learned as a child. These are giving me a great deal of joy; thank you for offering an alternative to leather. :)
