Frequently Asked Questions
What sizes does the Só Dança Mambo BL300 and BL301 child Latin shoe come in?
The Só Dança Mambo child Latin shoe is available in sizes 10.0s through 13.5s in child sizing, covering toddler through early youth foot sizes. For older dancers and adults, the Mambo is also available in an adult version.
How should the Só Dança Mambo BL300 and BL301 fit on a child?
The Mambo is cut in a medium width with an open toe box, so it should fit snugly through the heel and arch without pinching the toes. If your child is between sizes, sizing up is generally recommended for comfort during movement. Refer to the Só Dança shoe size chart for precise measurements.
What is the heel height on the Só Dança Mambo child Latin shoe?
The Mambo features a Cuban heel measuring 1.25 inches, which is appropriate for children developing their footwork and balance in Latin and ballroom dance. This heel height provides gentle elevation without compromising stability.
What materials are used in the Só Dança Mambo BL300 and BL301?
The Mambo is available in two material options. The Hot Pink, Lilac, and White colorways are made from man-made leather, while the Black and Caramel colorways are made from genuine leather. All versions feature the same Duo Sole construction and rhinestone buckle with the LS charm.
How do I care for the Só Dança Mambo child Latin dance shoe?
For man-made leather versions, wipe the upper clean with a damp cloth and allow to air dry. For genuine leather versions in Black and Caramel, use a leather conditioner periodically to maintain suppleness. The suede sole should be brushed regularly with a suede brush to restore the nap and maintain proper slip-and-grip balance on the dance floor.
What makes the Só Dança Mambo different from other child Latin shoes?
The Mambo features a Duo Sole that combines a suede surface with a rubber insert, giving young dancers controlled slide without losing traction during quick footwork. It also includes a rhinestone buckle with a signature LS charm, making it a popular choice for both studio classes and competitions. The 1.25-inch Cuban heel is specifically suited to developing dancers who need support without excessive height.
